PS Access Rules and Procedures
For the PS East Hall the access procedure is same to the AD and the
SPS. Everybody with a valid CERN access card and a valid dosimeter
(formerly film badge) can access the areas, once they are in key
access or free mode. No more special authorizations are required.
Search patrols at the PS East Hall are also performed by authorized
users (A special course needs to be attended). Users can also switch
on/off the beam and put the zone into free access and back as they
like.
In the documents listed below you will find the information needed
to achieve the conditions required for access or beam and also the
rules that you shall obey.
